Adorn The Future: A New Chapter for Art and Collecting in London
Timed to coincide with October’s Frieze London and PAD London, Adorn the Future offers a fresh, human-centred alternative to the major London fair experience. Set within a welcoming, immersive space in the heart of East London’s creative quarter, this four-day event is curated to blur the lines between art, design, and contemporary craft.

“We’re inviting visitors to experience these works as part of emotional, tactile environments,” says Pacifico. “It’s about storytelling, connection, and celebrating the makers as much as the materials.”

Why Adorn the Future Is a Frieze Week Essential
With many of the larger Frieze-adjacent London events favouring high-ticket exclusivity, Adorn the Future carves out a democratic space, one where first-time collectors, art lovers, and seasoned design patrons can interact directly with some of the most exciting emerging and established creatives working today.
“We’re dissolving the traditional filters of the art and design market,” says Read. “This is about creating an access-all-areas experience that celebrates diversity, creativity, and craftsmanship equally.”
Set across a series of domestic-style vignettes, the showcase will spotlight creators who challenge conventions, embrace sustainable practices, and offer bold new ways to live with art.

Artists to Watch in 2025
Here, Louisa and Trevor have selected a few artists to keep on your radar ahead of seeing their works at Adorn the Future. From sculptural pieces to fine art and furniture, the talent on show promises to deliver an exceptional level of quality and artistic creativity.
Eleanor Nadimi – One Nine Eight Five
Formerly a designer in fast fashion, Nadimi now leads her sustainable brand, One Nine Eight Five. Her newest artworks signal a bold new direction—fusing mid-century aesthetic with richly textured, inclusive storytelling drawn from her Iranian heritage and textile background.
Donald Baugh
An internationally recognised woodworker whose elegant furniture and carved vessels are inspired by sustainability and raw material honesty. Baugh’s collaborative approach with the Forestry Commission and tree surgeons like Dariusz Salarski ensures each piece carries a narrative rooted in ecological stewardship and craft excellence.
With a foundation in cabinetmaking and a distinction from Central Saint Martins, Pope’s practice explores the sculptural language of the vessel. His new Ebb & Flow collection delves into themes of queerness, fluidity, and personal evolution, expressed through the tactile beauty of hand-turned wood.
Kohlben Vodden
This UK-based fine artist introduces a new body of work that reinterprets the colour field movement through mirrored surfaces and resin-dyed in alcohol ink. These immersive pieces explore emotion, perception, and contemporary psychology, blurring the boundaries between painting and sculpture.
Adorn the Future takes place 16th - 19th October 2025 at 83 Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3AY.
