British designer Christopher Wall creates stunning sculptural furniture, lighting and art using the centuries-old technique of scagliola, a richly decorative plaster process originally developed in Italy to mimic marble.Having studied Product and Industrial Design in the UK and Italy, Christopher went on to design for London studios before launching his own practice in 2019. Now based in Worcestershire, his studio focuses on collectable pieces crafted for private clients and leading design houses

Collaborations with names like Bryan O’Sullivan, Duffy London, Linda Boronkay, and L’Objet have positioned him as a rising voice in modern British craft and design.“Working with Scagliola is a journey of both challenge and reward which requires patience and precision. The difficulty lies in perfecting the craft, but the joy comes from watching a simple blend of materials transform into something beautiful. Scagliola offers endless possibilities, and I’m driven to push its boundaries—blending tradition with innovation to create something bold, unexpected, and entirely new.”
